Epic Christian bookshop is a privately owned pop up bookshop that runs out of our Youth Hall on the first Wednesday of each month.
EPIC CHRISTIAN BOOKSHOP IS OPEN
FIRST WEDNESDAY OF EACH MONTH between 9am and 4pm in the Youth Hall – however in April 2018 Fran will be opening her shop on 11th April (not 4th as initially advertised)
Fran has a wide range of Christian items for sale. If she does not have it in stock, she will order it in for you.
The following is from their website:
“We are VERY unique!
Here at EPiC we do not collect private profits, we are a charitable organisation. Instead our income goes to help persecuted Christians
We exists to help, love and encourage persecuted Christians by providing Bibles, Christian literature, biblical and leadership training, ministry equipment, medical aid, safe houses, practical relief (food, clothing, blankets, shelter) and legal assistance.
The ministry – founded in NZ in 1969 by Romanian pastor Richard Wurmbrand, who was imprisoned for 14 years for his faith in a communist prison – is inspired by Hebrews 13:3, “remember those in prison as if you were their fellow prisoners and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering.” We have been serving the persecuted church faithfully for over 45 years.
All purchases you make online or in our stores will help our work supporting persecuted Christians in hostile and restricted nations.
We believe our business model is a win-win for us all. We provide valuable Christian resources to local churches and individuals from Bluff to Kaitaia, whilst supporting our Christian brothers and sisters around the world who are suffering for their faith in Jesus.
As a new enterprise we welcome feedback and are reliant on others to spread the word about the bookstore. Thank you for telling your friends and family about the work we support and about our great range of stock.”
