This is a (fast growing) group of women who meet on the second Monday of each month for coffee and fellowship at Boodles Coffee Shop in Papakura*. They meet between 10am and 11.30.
It is organized by Barbara Ruthe whose aim is ‘to unite the women of Papakura’ and is open to any woman who would like to meet and share with other women in a safe, friendly atmosphere. Barbara started this group last year and has had from 12 – 20 women attend. She would like to see more people come along.
*One Monday in 2016, they went on the bus trip to Awhitu Presbyterian Camp, stopping at the craft shop at Pollock on the way. The ladies had a lovely relaxing day out, toured the camp, heard about it’s history and enjoyed their lunch in a beautiful setting by the sea.
Barbara has other trips in mind but the usual meeting place is at Boodles, who provide a morning tea which includes a cake or savoury (something different each week) and a drink for each person for $6.00.
Please let Barbara or the office at First know if you will be there, so that we can make sure there is plenty of food for everyone.
Trips away will be well advertised, but please do not hesitate to ring the office at First Church if you want to confirm whether or not there is a trip or to confirm that the meeting is at Boodles as usual.
