Coming up in our church’s calendar we are being given the opportunity to share together as family at a talent show. The Fellowship Team has got this organised for us all, alongside so many of their amazing ideas designed to help us all build deeper fellowship. They’re doing a really great job on our behalf as they work out their particular ministry calling alongside us and in leading all of us on in it.
I confess that I have not always been able to attend all that has been on offer, but nevertheless, I have always greatly appreciated the work that the Fellowship Team does behind the scenes to build into our corporate life. This newest event is a continuation of this and should be a great time of sharing together over a pot-luck dinner as well as together being blessed by those who’ve offered their talents to entertain us all. Evonne and I are definitely going to attend, the Lord willing.
So if you haven’t been to one of these events, how about making this the first one of many for you. Being a talent show, it needs as big an audience as possible; it would not be much of a blessing if only a few managed to turn up. We need to support these sorts of events, especially where members of our own fellowship are prepared to do things to give us all a good time. So how about booking in that date now and committing yourself to it.
I, of course, would have volunteered something from my vast array of talents but I simply couldn’t settle on just the one!! You know how it is!
